There have been events that can only happen by the Lord’s power one after another, but right now I just want to share one.

Yesterday as I was journaling, praying, and spending time with the Lord, my squad sister, Chloe, came and sat next to me. Even without her saying what was wrong, it was clear that she was not feeling good. She said she was feeling extremely nauseated. I wanted to pray over her, but hesitated because, honestly,  sometimes it just feels weird to pray for someone out loud. Instead, I asked her if I could do anything for her. Chloe’s only request was to lay on my backpack. She layed next to me with her head propped on my backpack.

I then decided to pray for her. I layed my hand gently on her head and prayed silently for the Lord to heal her and take away the nauseousness.

While Chloe layed there, I just went back to spending time with Jesus. Within this time, I gave her one of my aipods so that we could both be listening to worship. Chloe eventually got up to do something else. She came back to me quickly and asked, “Did you pray over me? cause I felt like I was going to throw up.” I said that I had, and she proceeded to explain that she now felt completely fine!

Woah!! Praise God! In that moment neither of us could help but tear up, laugh, and hug each other all at the same time.

Let this be a testament to God’s good work. That was the Lord inviting me to step into the authority He gives and be bold in prayer, even if it was silent. Jesus will take everything we give Him and use it for good. He provided a sweet moment for Chloe and I to rejoice in His name together! Thank you Jesus!
